Description
Part grimoire, part manifesto, part fever-dream from the frozen north, In Blackest Blizzard is one of the strangest and most uncompromising titles Mount Abraxas has published. Nafre Hellulander is a black metal poet, vocalist and self-styled heretic shaman who wanders the Arctic tundra. Here he sets out an initiatory path where black metal is treated not as a musical genre but as a living necromantic current.
The text moves between occultism, witchery, literature, history and tradition. It is written in a deliberately archaic, wintry idiom that makes the reading itself feel like a rite. It is a call to turn away from a hollow present and back towards a past that is still alive, and it will appeal as much to collectors of esoteric small-press work as to anyone who has ever felt the old gods stirring beneath a wall of tremolo-picked noise.
Published in Bucharest by Mount Abraxas (Ex Occidente Press) in a hardcover edition with dust jacket, limited to 111 numbered copies.
